A lady in darkish glasses and a masks was caught on safety footage pulling off the theft of a gold necklace set value lakhs from a jewelry showroom in Uttar Pradesh.
The incident happened on November 17. The footage confirmed the “masked” girl sitting in a crowd of shoppers on the showroom in Gorakhpur. It’s laborious to make out her face, hidden behind the sun shades and the masks. It turned out to be a part of her plan to flee detection.
Within the video, the girl goes via a number of necklaces and deftly sneaks a field below the folds of her saree as she asks the salesperson to mannequin one necklace. After pretending to take a look at some extra items, the “finicky buyer” leaves with out shopping for something. Suspecting nothing, the salespersons put away the containers, not noticing one lacking set.
The field that the girl managed to remove included a gold necklace and earrings value lakhs.
